The Northern Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kimberley is a professional service organisation that acts on behalf of its members as a facilitating, coordinating and representative body. It is autonomous and has relationships with relevant national bodies, the Afrikaanse Handelsinstituut and the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Description
History
The Northern Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI) Kimberley was established on 22 February 2000 with the amalgamation of the Chamber of Business and the Kimberley Afrikaanse Sakekamer. These two organisations had served the business community of Kimberley for the previous 130 years.
Mission
The purpose of NOCCI Kimberley is to establish a strong and coherent structure, constituted by businesses in the Northern Cape, in order to:
• Serve the interests of the business community.
• Promote the well-being of the whole community by enhancing the role and capacity of businesses.
• Position Kimberley and the Northern Cape as a business destination.
Vision
The vision of NOCCI Kimberley is to develop into an excellent organised business structure for the whole Northern Cape region, by successfully adding value through rendering these services to the folowing groups:
